[Geek] To rob from the rich and hold it for ransom
Geek 8:39 am () BBC - Wikipedia
In today’s day and age, how is it even possible that there is only copy of the master tapes?
From Sydney Morning Herald:
Master tapes for the BBC’s new Robin Hood series have been stolen and held for $2.5 million ransom, British newspapers reported yesterday.
I mean, come on… You’re shooting this in HD and you don’t have digital backups? You didn’t make copies for editing? You didn’t make copies for daily screenings?

Man, you go through life, you try to be nice to people, you struggle to resist the urge to punch ‘em in the face, and for what?

What is it with the BBC and having their shows stolen? When I was a young WHO-vian, I remember hearing about Dr. Who epsiodes being stolen from the vaults all the time.
Oh, and happy belated birthday!

The dr. who episodes weren’t stolen, they were taken from the archive shelves and “re-cycled” …
because they needed the shelf space.
