Ok, so the speech bubbles post I made really got my inner reptile creative mind working. My link, unfortunately, takes you straight to the speech bubbles. What you really need to do is to visit Ji Lee’s Homepage and take a look at some of the other stuff he’s done.
First of all, the site Universrevolved (spelled correctly), shows a 3D alphabet, which made my mind go wow. I think someone needs to use these letters in a puzzle such as The Game. Funny, I sent my friend Lynda a link on that to read, and told her she could blog about it cause I was done for the day, and then my brain went into hyper-drive. So I’m not talking about The Game, I’m just referencing it… /me sticks out tongue.
Now, Ji has some nice links to follow. I’m going to be thinking about this one ALL FREAKING DAY. Remember my position as a photographer? This is just an amazing concept to not only come up with, but to visualize and put onto a website. It’s a fantastic merger of technology, social interaction, and (as well as) commentary. How’s this for a discussion… Can the author of Human Clock still be considered an artist even when he’s using images that other people have taken?
So I’ve got that clock running in a webpage for over 20 minutes now. Every minute, it flashes and a new random image comes up. You want to talk about a way to distract yourself throughout the day? Do yourself a favor and read the FAQ as well.
It’s not a matter of maybe… I am going to take a picture and send it in. He’s looking for things that aren’t mundane though. That definately means a group from Tadcaster, all dressed up at the next event. Oooh.. I wonder if we can find ourselves a sundial somewhere.
My mind is still reeling… I’m not sure if I prefer the analog or the digital clocks….
Hrm. I haven’t been able to access the website. I’ve checked out the Human Clock site though and it’s pretty cool.
Oh. When I get a chance (maybe later this afternoon) I’m going to read up on The Game. I’m sure I’ve heard of this before but it’ll be neat to read a write up on it.
You say “the website”, but I’m not sure which one you are talking about, since I mention several. Maybe I got a URI in a link wrong. Which one you trying to go to? i just check each link in this post and they all seem to be working for me.
Yeah I realize just how vague that statement is. I can view the Ji Lee website. I can’t however, view the Universrevolved website. I get a 404 Error when I try to load the page.
Oh and as for the Human Clock website..go to hell. Seriously, I’ve got that damn website up and running now because it’s pretty damn cool. 😉
No idea why you’re getting a 404 unless something isn’t resolving properly on your end.
The link takes to you a loading page which you click to go into the main site.
Follow this URL: http://www.universrevolved.com/01.Home/home.htm
to go directly in. Maybe that will work better for you.
Hrm. Me either.
But the link you provided worked. Thanks!
Alright. So I read the article about The Game. I have to say that I really am fascinated by all the time and work that was put in to the it. The interactive PDA program was teh shit.
On the flip side, I realize that I don’t have the mental capacity to do anything of that sort.
I’d be the designated driver. 🙂
