Now that I’ve got my computer at work updated, and I managed to go through the thousands of back blog entries (I skipped a few just in case you were wondering), it’s time to post again.. I realized it had been almost two months since I was actively writing.. Holidays will do that to you.

It’s more than just a buzz word. It’s really a change in the way we communicate and share our lives with each other.

Professor Wesch is involved with a program called Digital Ethnography at KSU. Ethnography is defined as: A branch of anthropology that studies and describes modern human cultures (rather than human behavior or physical attributes). Archaeologists sometimes work with ethnographers in an effort to correlate behavior with material remains.. What they are studying is how the web and the digital medium is defining our current international community. As the Web becomes part of our daily lives, our culture is no longer defined by the physical borders of our towns and countries.
Pretty cool, if you ask me.
